I think people sometimes use advice of a friend to help them get back more confidence and find their feet... and then after that, they go on to make their own decision. I don't blame you for feeling bad about it cuz I'd probably feel the same.. but when you think about it, I think advice will soothe a person even if they don't take it as their decision in the end. I'm sure they take it to heart though^^

Because she doesn't trust many people and is very lost trust me I would know. I'm sorry that you were hurt if I could heal you and help her (my bff) become more strong minded I would. Just because she doesn't always do what you advice, doesn't mean she's ignoring you. It could be that she just doesn't think your advice is the best at the moment, or maybe she just doesn't agree with it. There are many reasons on why she hasn't done what you advise.
True true true...I guess it more or less that she always asks for my advice and still ignores it... I don't stop talking to her because now she looks like hellmostly because of the abortion but I can't leave someone to die or wither away...I want to help...I try and everyone who knows me knows I can't turn my back on a friend no matter what they did. But thanks for that I really did needed that.

You know, you friend probably took to heart your advice. But, your friend might still be confused on what to do. It is supposed to be her decision to make. Not yours. So, she has to weigh all her options. She probably got other people's opinions, too. And then she just did what she thought would be best. It doesn't mean she ignored you. And, you shouldn't be mad at her for that. She needs to learn to make her own decisions and then live with the consequences.
The part where you are mad that she got an abortion and didn't put the kid up for adoption bothers me. I mean, that is a life changing event there. You can't tell her what to do. That was her decision and hers alone. It may not be what you deem right, but if she thought that's what was best for herself, how can you blame her?
