Champion

I was reading the Legend series by Marie Lu. It's a really amazing series and I was hooked from the first book. I just finished the last book, Champion, but that ending....
All I can say is:

Please Don't Combine

I'm not just an otaku, I'm also a BookNerd (that's a whole other website/community believe it or not).
Sometimes these two parts of me kind of combine themselves without me realizing.
Like I'll be reading a book and whenever a character says thank you, or I'm sorry, or something like that, I'll imagine them bowing like they would in a manga/anime. But the books I read are about people from the U.S. or Europe or COUNTIES WHERE PEOPLE DO NOT BOW. EVER.
I'm reading The Selection right now and there are some maids that treat this girl like a princess and they say things like 'as you wish' . Even as I'm reading the words ' they curtsied ' I picture them bowing.
What's up with that?! @_@
