    These guys are pretty good. I can imagine myself getting well into this band, yeah.

    I tend to like Swedish metal bands, whether they be melodic death metal to the all-out-grind variety (e.g. Entombed).

    I agree with the idea that some modern metal is an outcome of classical music. Certainly, Wagner's music influenced metal, and it can be heard in the total bombast that both he and metal use so well.

    Yeah, it's been around for over 4 decades now. Metal has had a lot of time to expand and evolve in a lot of interesting ways.

    Dark Tranquility one of my prefer bands, been listening to them for years. Its fascinating how many types of metal are out there.

    Many Metal writers say they use a lot of classical music as inspiration. And written out they are very similar.

    I always love hearing these guys. I say any metal band that has a keyboard is cool with me. lol
