There's a lot of good Nightwish out there. You should definitely check out their older stuff, particularly since they had a more operatic vocalist until Dark Passion Play.
It's a great song, and if you prefer the vocals you can find a copy over at youtube with them. I just prefer it without. Though stuff like Kamelot Ghost Opera is fine. Metal where the singing isn't that harsh screech is good.
And yeah, I like a break too, which is probably why I was listening to so much Nightwish the other day. Good stuff, especially the instrumental.
I saw your message about Kamelot... I've heard of them before, they're pretty good. I like their Ghost Opera song. Good stuff. I also just learned about another Nightwish song Kuolema Tekee Taiteilijan from their Once albumn. It has the prettiest cello solo. Heh.
Ooooh poooo... I can't listen to it right now on the school-no-speaker computers, but I'l lbe sure to listen to it when I can! I can picture you now, cringing at the normal "screech metal." Yeah, that sutff can be pretty annoying. I'm not into that stuff either, plus the whole "rap" stuff too. However, I do like the occassional hip-hop beat. I guess it's good to "take a break" from the Mozart's Requiem. ^^

NIGHTWISH IS WIN! ^^
The Poet & the Pendulum is indeed an amazing song, and their most epic so far. I love Nightwish because of it's bombast, it's like a Wagnerian metal symphony.
There are plenty of awsome metal bands that focus on composition and aren't all pounding and screaming. You should look into the Progressive Metal genre, which is what I listen to. If you'd like any suggestions, I would be happy to give them.
