I get what you're saying...there's so much pressure and stress to the build-up of finals that you're almost glad they're finally here! There's nothing better though than that feeling of being alllllll done. I remember finals week when I was in college...it was very little sleep and driving myself bonkers trying to get everything done and study.

Heh, I can relate... seriously. o_O Even though I mainly work with college students. But for private lessons I do have some who are a lot younger and that can get interesting at times.
Overall I do like it, or else I wouldn't be doing it. I really am looking forward to a break once finals are done though. It will be nice to have real free time again.
I know I'm glad you'll have more time to do stuff. ^_^ It really does get old when you have little to no time for taking it easy. I know I'm looking forward to summer and lighter schedules to go along with it.

Heh... and Dad wonders why I'm iffy about becoming a teacher. I seriously don't think I could handle the stress. Not to mention the students. When you hear horror stories from both parents about the demon spawn they have to teach, it saps any enthusiasm you might have for the job (which isn't really any to start with).
At least you can relax some once finals are over ^^
