My point exactly... unless, maybe they're hour-long episodes. Kinda like that Wizard of Oz remake where the scarecrow, lion, and tin man were more metaphorical than actual scarecrows, lions, and tin men.

Yeah. It was a major let down for me too. The upside though is that they'll be having some of my favorite events from the original games, but I was really hoping for a whole lot more. I mean if they're really going to show Red's entire journey from Pallet Town to the Elite Four in just four parts, they'll be skipping over a whole lot.

Also, I don't know if it's going to run in the U.S. or not. I think I might've read something about it being streamed online, but I'm not a hundred percent sure.

Huh... I'm happy that at least Red is the protag, but unsettled about Mega Charizard X. At least we know X is canon, right?

Wait... is Origins only running in Japan?! I never heard about a US release!
