Hm, Yamato? I wonder where he is too. I've stopped following the story, though sometimes I still read some chapters which I find interesting enough to read. I wasn't aware of Yamato's disappearance. I didn't even remember him if you didn't mention him. lol ^^; So, when was he last seen? XD

I read the chapter where Sasuke was going to meet the ones who knew everything and find the truth. I'm waiting for the continuation of that chapter ._.

Yeah, I started Naruto for Sasuke as well. xD
I think the first part of Naruto had a lot more focus and a single goal for each character. The second half, to me, has a lot more development but it's all over the place at times. I hate how long it takes for a battle. It'd be nice if he Kishimoto got right to the point, just how he had in the first half. LOL. I'm still wondering what happened to Yamato... He disappeared AGES ago, and there hasn't been a single development with him since. e____e;

I think I could understand Sasuke's character a lot better through watching him transition in Shippuuden. Only because, in the first half, he could only think of revenge and how to destroy Itachi. At least now we can understand how ruthless and cruel he can be, but as well, we can understand his torment and struggle to find out what he really wants to live for. ; u ; For example, how he refused to be like Itachi, only to cry over losing him. Then, how he decided to toss Hebi away for the sake of getting revenge on the village for his brother, only to, once again, second guess himself. He's in that stage where he can still do what's "good."

I think both halves compliment each other. However, I totally get what you mean by all the fillers and extras everywhere! OTL JUST GET TO THE POINT DAMN IT.

Haha, I read Naruto just to see him (and perhaps his brother). When the shippuden started, it's getting annoying. I dislike those new characters, fillers, and the whole story. Naruto's first series was amazingly awesome. -__-
I'm so glad there is someone who can understand him. ^^,
