oh I have an account in animerenders.com I have even won a couples of times ROTW lol but to see the gallery you need 25 post or more, so if anyone needs a render from there let me know.

I have been to Anime Galleries before. It gave me malware that my antivirus software couldn't remove. I had to have a guy come in and remove it manually. Just FYI.

For the renders, I also suggest [Distant Destiny]. The creators of this site are artists from theO, MT and AP (one of them being SakuraDust!) so we can be sure to have quality there! Besides, they also make some vectors free to be used :)

There's an asterisk after MT because it has a lot of work from their members (such as wallpapers) that are not available for use. I added Zerochan because it has lots of official artwork from anime. But it most certainly has stolen work from others (as well as my own x & x), hence the asterisk.

I think there are other sites for scans, I'll try to find them and give  them to you. I don't understand why there is a star sign on MT. However I wouldn't add Zerochan. Although it has official scans, but they are from MT or AP. A few images aren't there because of their small size (most of the time).
For the renders, I only know Kuusou and know it is one of the (probably) only safe renders site. I do not know about anime.render, but since it has no star, I shall suppose it is safe..(?).
I am afraid that not a lot pay attention to know if the render is of a official scan or not. I saw a lot of renders extracted  from a vectored wallpaper or from a fanart being used. (even in TheO).
