    Yeah, gold is one of the softest metals there is. People test it to see if it's the real thing by biting it.

    Aww wow that is really impressive and interesting^^ I thought it was molted lead..Actaully aluminum's melting temputure is about 1200 degrees +-...Gold is about 850 not too far from lead they are about the same weight and almost as soft.. Lead is a bitt harder

    That's a pretty good idea. If I was a real expert in metals I'd put in a mix one after the other so that when I took it out all the colors would flow into each other.

    I'm not sure about gold. I would be pretty, but gold is really soft and weak. It's also really dense and heavy and has a high melting point. Although I don't know the melting point of aluminum.
