Well, I am the one praising you now. xD It comes from that our countries are similar (we are also a bump of many cultures, religions and people), but you managed to become one of the Asian Tigers (meaning one of the best developed Asian countries) even thought you got independence after 1968 (If I remember right).
Of course that you are still in development unlike European countries which passed that period like two centuries ago. But still you are making fast and good progress there. ^_^

Yuppies, Russia in Hetalia is cute yet creepy, he's also a tad too intimidating and is always seen scaring the mickeys out of Lithuania, Latvia and Estonia (The Trembling Trio XD LOL). Also he constantly urges people "to be one with Russia", meaning to be united under Soviet Union. Pretty hilarious I must say XD.
