Ruin searching

I walked off and began heading west. "I feel bad for leaving again, but if I stay I'll just get angry with them.", I sighed as I came upon a swamp. I stared across it, the moonlight dancing off the still waters of the murky swamp. "I wonder if there are any ruins here...and if they even have libraries.", I said tommyself as I starting trudging through the swamp, until I came to a tall tower. It had to be about 70 stories high. "How did anyone make this?", I said as I stared in amazement till my neck got stiff. I opened the door to the tower, which was half sunken in the swamp. The aroma of rotten...stuff, hit me in the face as I entered. I couldn't tell what the stench was, but it hurt. I trudged further inward and came upon two large doors. They were made of a black metal or stone from the feel and I figured maybe onyx. I opened the door on the left and it led downward. I was speechless by this fact as the tower seemed to be 70 stories from outside but there was a downstairs to it. I walked down the spiraling case and reached another series of large doors. "Eithier they liked doors, or they're trying to tick me off.", I said as I opened the door in the middle. There was a bright light and I was blinded by it. When I opened my eyes, before me was a library. This wasn't any library though, as it was massive. I walked down the central case to the center of the library. It was unbelievable. I estimated it was about the size of the Academy times two. "How am I supposed to search this place!", I said with a tad bit of anger. The place was in amazing condition though for it being in the middle of a swamp. Bright crimson stones and cloth lined the walls and ceiling surrounding a large crystal. It was beautiful, and I figured the crystal was what powered the lights. But there were some oddities to the room. For one, there were no other doors except the one I came through. Also, torches were lit even though the crystal gave off plenty of light. I felt awkward as I walked deeper into the room, an eerie calm befalling it. "How is it that this place survived?", I said to myself as I ran my hand across a row of books. The books weren't even dusty. Suddenly, a figure shot past a row of shelves to my right and disappeared. "Who's there?", I shouted. Silence. I stood there, and then another figure dashed past rows to my left. I turned but nothing there. "Hello?", I shouted. Silence. The library was silent again, no presence was tryin to alert me now. "I know someone's here!", I shouted. No reply. I turned to head back towards the crystal when all the torches went out. I tripped over something and landed hard on the floor. How did I trip? The crystal should've been bright enough to light up the room. I looked up, and froze. There was no crystal. There was no large crystal in the center of the room...but how? Slid onto my knees and felt wet...wait, wet? When I entered here it was dry, no water at all. I stranded my eyes as I looked down, to see not water, but blood. The entire library was a pool of blood. And the crimson stones and drapes were replaced by skulls and twisted sacks of bodies. "What is this place?", I said as I stubbled up. This isn't a library anymore, but it was more like a morge. I clumsily made progress toward the door only to find it lock. "Darn it, not now!",
I shouted as I pulled but nothing happened. I spun around and shivered. The blood was shifting, convulging into people. They began to creep up the central stair case toward me. I pulled my throwing knives and let loose. I decided to forget aiming and just throw. The knives hit the bodies but nothing happened. It hit me then. I couldn't hurt them with knives, they were liquid beings. I ran toward the railing and lept off, grasping the edge of a bookshelf and climbing on top. The beings surrounded me from below, making it impossible to get down without drowning in the blood. "What am I going to do! Why do I keep running into these situations!", I shouted. I closed my eyes tight to calm myself but it was difficult. I was fed up with this, I should've just stayed with the group. I clenched my fists tighter and stood up. I ran towards another shelf and jumped onto it. I turned, only to see they bodies creeping up the shelves. They were solidifying fast, and I still wouldn't be able to use my knives. I closed my eyes and felt a strange vibe come over me. I held out my hand and with a release of energy, the shelf in front if me came down into a section of the bodies. As the shelf fell, I snapped back to reality. I stared at my hand then at the fallen shelf. Did I just use telekinesis? I smiled and aimed again. Another shelf was pushed down. It didn't kill them, but it helped slow them down. "All I need to do is find the source of this bleed...", I said as I pulled out a knife and ran down the rows of shelves knocking them down as I went.
