Glinda watched silently as Scraps tumbled with a square dog- the Woozy, an odd creature native to Oz. Skare walked up beside her, having his straw replaced minutes earlier.
"Odd for Wonderland to reawaken so suddenly," The scarecrow remarked."Didn't Alice turn away?"
"Yes," Glinda's eyes clouded with thought. "Perhaps some outside force disturbed it's balance?"
"Perhaps..." Skare crouched."Glinda. Before we were attacked by cards, I sensed what felt like...Black Magick."
Glinda gasped.

Dorothy stumbled along, wondering where exactly in Oz she was. In the dark forest, she bumped into a solid body. She stepped back as the animal turned, then, recognizing who he was, threw her arms around him.
"Lion!" she smiled."So I am in the Dark Woods!"
"Milady?" Lion sat down. "What brings you to Oz?"

"Marionette," She barked. The Waltz robotically turned to face her."Don't go wandering off," Lita instructed."From what I've read, Oz can be a dangerous place, at times..."
The Waltz stared with blank comprehension.

"RUN!" Scraps' voice rang out amidst the soft forest. Chopyt, known to others as the Tinman, Emperor of the Winkies, stopped cleaning off his axe in time to catch the patchwork maiden.
"What? You want to play tag?" He smiled at her.
"No. Chopyt," Scraps' button-eyes showcased terror." Some...THING is coming!"
"SomeTHING is here!" Skare burst out of the treeline, followed by a multitude of man-sized playing-cards.
"Just like the flying monkeys," Chopyt muttered as he branded his axe. Skare quickly hopped into position behind him.

Fire whizzed past a pumpkin.
"Darn..." Jack mumbled, drooping over."I can't aim to save me!"
"Then you'd better learn soon," His instructor, an incredibly tall teenage girl with streaming black hair remarked as she winded around him."I've seen the one who taught me what I know bust 13 with one thunder, whilst he was blindfolded!"
"What are you teaching me this for, anyway?" Jack asked. "I don't even know your name!"
"There will be plenty of time for that later," she told him, her green eyes glinting up at him. "After the nightmare's finished..."
