They just replaced ours with a drum guy *shivers* I've never had a good experience with percussionists as band directors. XD But the new Concert band director is a trombonist and is dating our AWESOME assistant director, so he should be good! :D

I've been trying to improve my animation skills but it hasn't been working to well.
I'm hoping making flip notes on my little brother's DSi will help XD
I'm using Photoshop Elements 4.0 right now.
I was actually looking for a suggestion for what kind of mac I should get but suggesting a photoshop works too xD
But I think I'm looking into gettin the newest photoshop CS.

Our problem was that our director kept trying to get us to do more and more advanced things that took up more and more of our summers. :/ And with kids from ages 9-20 it just ended up being too much for most of the band. @__@ So yeah. We seriously dropped from 50/60 ish down to 20/30ish. And this past year (I wasn't a part of it) there were only 12 kids :( :( :( It's sad.
A photoshop verion? o.o hmm... Well for me, I use Adobe photoshop elements 6.0. you can make those cool space backgrounds that you see all the time, and draw stuff... Although the newer the better but It ain't cheap!! I'll tell ya that. :P

My old high school got split up since there was a new one built and I'm going to the new one and we just lost our only trumpet player because she got to go back to the old school ):

He's in 8th grade but since our marching band is so small, they're allowing the 8th graders to come march with us so he's doing marching band too.
I play flute and trombone (mostly trombone lately XD)! I used to be in marching band, but not anymore in college :( It was too much of a commitment.
Maki who shares this account with me is in school for Music Education and she plays trombone too :D And she played Clarinet in high school! (partially so we could do flute/clarinet duets in solo/ensemble :D )
