I wonder if every President has faced this issue. Though considering how much our country has fought getting past the racist bit, I'm not surprised to hear about something like this.

Personally I find it a bit sad and disappointing that there are people in the world who are willing to turn to violence in an attempt to solve things instead of working for reform. What do you think?
This tragedy is as long as human history. It's proof that a large chunk of the human race has yet to grow up and move past the "bully on the playground" phase.
