I enjoy a little farming sim from time to time. I'm sure I'd feel motivated to post in that thread if I had a PSP. All I've got is a DS, so the new weird one for me is Rune Factory. It was an okay game. Fun in its own right. The ending made me want to punch someone, though.
Definitely a big Harvest Moon fan right here. If you want to get a really good idea of the series, try out Harvest Moon 64 (many hail it as the top game in the series), and to a lesser extent, Harvest Moon: Friends of Mineral Town for the Game Boy Advance. I haven't played Innocent Life for the PSP yet, but after Save the Homeland on the PS2, I'm gun-shy to play Harvest Moon on a non-Nintendo system.
I think Harvest Moon Wii will be pretty interesting with the Wiimote controls, but they need to add some more content to make the game shine. I've also heard that a Harvest Moon Online title is in the works, which will let players visit gamer farms all over the world. Seems like a great idea!
