L is infinitely more intelligent than Velma and Fred combined. Granted, he doesn't have Daphne's sex appeal (not that I'm into her,) but in the department of sheer skill, L is the definite victor.
However, the playing field takes a drastic turn if you throw in Shaggy and Scooby's sheer dumb luck.
