TDE's Top 10 OP/ED Countdown [5 OPs + 5 EDs]

This one's coming to you early, people.

Today doesn't actually have a theme, but I've got some great additions to this list.

  • #3 Anime Opening

"Puzzle" by Rieko Ito
OP to the anime "Welcome to the NHK!"

Full Song-

OP CUT-

If I've ever talked about "Welcome to the NHK!" I've probably spoken about how its the definition of a psychological anime. Seriously, I recommend watching this anime when you're in your happiest moments because the anime will have you depressed and questioning your life for quite some time; especially if you're an anime fan or if you're just familiar with the themes present in the anime.

Still, as an OP, I think "Puzzle" is not only a catchy song with its horns and upbeat nature, but it outshines a lot of the other songs in the anime because it isn't as drastic.

I saw someone post that they enjoyed the ED theme, and I don't knock anybody's tastes, but that song scared the hell out of me. Maybe it was the video complimenting it or the lyrics (because it was translated when I watched it) and I personally was creeped out by it.

Still, I greatly enjoy this one.

  • #3 Anime Ending

"Bakusou Yume Uta" by Diggy-MO

3rd Ending to the anime "Soul Eater"

Ya see, every anime OP/ED list has to have something from Diggy-MO, and I'm surprised not many people appreciate this guy's greatness.

For this, we have to go way back--to the very beginning; the first song I ever heard from Diggy, Bakusou Yume Uta.
While the Ending is catchy enough, the full song is where it truly shines, and I had to dedicate this as my #3 because it was Soul Eater's #3 Ending.

Enjoy Day 3 of TDE's Countdown and stay tuned.
