Your Fellow Members Need Your Help!

If anyone didn't catch the podcast-related news, theOtaku.com members TimeChaser and Katana are getting some podcast air over at Anime Pulse.

So with that said, Timey wired me a request. I'm in a lazy Monday mood tonight, so I'll just copy-paste it below:

In our communication with Ichigo concerning our upcoming podcast recording, he said since we're doing this for posting later, news isn't important, but we can come up with discussion topics instead. You probably already saw our post on the Watercooler asking people for suggestions on this area. What I'd like to request, if you can do it, is post a request for topic suggestions on theO's main world where the podcast is posted, that way we can be sure to reach everyone who regularly listens. Ichigo's only requirements for topics is that they be related to either anime, Japan, and/or us, the hosts.

So yes, your peers need your help because they are totally unable to think up ideas all by their lonesome!

Actually, that's the cynical way of looking at it. Rather, let us say that this gives ample opportunity for you, the members of theOtaku, to participate in this unique little cross-site venture! Your comments and suggestions could be heard by the thousands upon thousands of listeners over at Anime Pulse (over at www.anime-pulse.com)!

It's probably thousands!

A'ight, first off, three things:

In Canada, people vote for their regional Member of Parliament (very localized districts/ridings), who will be a member (or not) of a larger party; he/she then gets a seat in the 308-seat House of Commons in Ottawa; the party with the most seats in the House of Commons becomes the governing party; the leader of said-party then becomes Prime minister. I was feeling left out, so there.
Chinese has several dialects, but only one unified writing system (not counting traditional/simplified); different dialects just pronounce 'em differently.
I think it's pronounced "Kah-lay-ah"
