Batou texting can wait until after the podcast. Great song choice I love Birdy the Mighty (adding to playlist) All in all pretty good podcast but sadly lack of news does make for shorter podcast. I want to make it to the MST3K chat but I keep forgetting. I like the actress who is playing Bulma but I hope she does a good job.
Aww, I want a Tachikoma toy; that'd be so cute! 'Tachikoma Days' is probably one of my favorite parts of Ghost in the Shell (well, aside from my crush on Togusa, but that's a whole 'nother issue.)
Yeah, some of the MST3K shorts were pretty dang funny; the whole 'Coily the Spring Sprite', eep. "No springs! (whistle) Oh, and no redemption by the way!"
And I too tend to enjoy funny amvs over drama, but my criteria is mainly whether the song matches the footage and the editing is well-done.

Not all of the movies have shorts attached to them, but sometimes the shorts are better than the movies. I just get a kick out of things like "What To Do On a Date" and "Body Care & Grooming", how the 1950s mentality was that everyone needed help in order to do things. It's like Mike said: "In the '50s people responded well to authoritative, disembodied voices."
Oh geez, I remember that little spring pixie guy. That one was scary...
