I heard that Yukio Hatoyama has resigned as Prime Minister of Japan and Naoto Kan has now been elected as the new prime minister. From the way I'm hearing this, it seems he seems to be a good replacement to Hatoyama. Also, I'm intrigued about his idea of weakening the Japanese yen in order to stimulate the Japanese economy, which I've heard months before he became PM.
So, how's the general feeling among the Japanese people with regards to Kan being elected as PM? Personally, what's your view on this? And can you explain his idea of how a weak yen can help the economy?
On other stuff, it's a shame that this news piece isn't making its way in the anime news section, unlike in the past. Then again, I guess it's for the best. Japanese politics just got a bit interesting already to me.
HEY I am from Idaho and would wonder if there are any jokes about my state. oh... by the way. i went to my first anime convention and I have a pic of me in my Edward Elric costume even though i can't download it at all. i can't figure out how.
