I've been on the lookout for a seasonal writing competition for weeks, great to see it's finally here! I'll definitely try and enter.

I love it that theO folks are paying attention to the less artsy people (visual arts, that is) and make up writing comps., hats off to you guys!

Poetry isn't accepted for Fan Words publication. But if you can think of a way to weave some into the actual story, that's acceptable.

We're looking for Winter themes. Though you could get around that by showing the sharp contrast of how Christmas is so different there, at least weather wise.

So you can do the holiday's mentioned, Christmas or New Year's regardless of the season, but otherwise it needs to clearly be Winter themed.

Sounds like fun. I'll have to think long and hard about what my story will be about.
