I agree. I was a bit vexed when a comment I had started once disappeared when I accidentally clicked off the comment box. Very annoying.

Yeah, that system has been around since the site rebooted as VV. Hopefully it's something Adam will tweak later so the comment box can be minimized, like on the old site.
