It was an okay one, but I probably wouldn't choose it again.

Thanks! I have a birthday cake from Ben and Jerry's and it's basically just a pile of ice cream with frosting on it.

My friend and I collect fortune cookie papers and add 'in bed' to the end of every one. We get some that are hilarious, some that are bizarre, and some that make no sense.

I think so! I wonder what others should exist in this universe? I was also thinking giant wolves, like direwolves. (I have been watching a lot of Game of Thrones).

Hmm, I'm not sure. I might like to be one of the fairies though, I've always wanted to fly.

Maybe not evil, but with malicious intentions. Yeah, I think that in this RPG these creatures should exist.

You're probably right. Perhaps the fairies just seem more accepting to the humans because their culture differs? Like, there are still things that fairies can't accept, but it's not the same as in the human world. Another idea I have is that mermaids and mermen exist, but they're similar in size and appearance to the fairies and are distantly related, so they also have magical abilities. Like fairies, they lay eggs, but rather than hatching into grubs, they hatch into eel-like creatures that then grow into mermaids in a life cycle similar to that of the fairies. And again, a lot of unscrupulous humans try to capture them to use their magic or to use them as ingredients, and that's not legal in many places. However, they are very helpful towards humans who respect them as intelligent creatures.

Many species of fairy and mermaid have a mischievous side and often play pranks on humans/other species. Most of these pranks are harmless if somewhat annoying, but since fairy and human customs differ, some fairies and mermaids may end up seriously scaring or pissing off humans.

And there are a few evil fairies and mermaids who do the same thing to humans--trap them and use their body parts in enchantments and potion ingredients. This is rare, because fairies and mermaids are so small, so it would take a group of them working together. Some of them aren't necessarily evil, just angry and bitter about their foul treatment at the hands of the humans.

Hmm... I'll have to think of the setting. But I've got an idea for one of the species. They're like fairies, only we could probably come up with a original name for them. Their average height is approximately the length of a forearm, although as with humans, it can vary. They're vaguely humanoid in shape, although they often have features that vary from human features. There are also differences among the species, different 'breeds' I guess, differentiated by the type of wings they have. Some have butterfly-style or traditional fairy-style wings, others have dragonfly wings, bird wings, bat wings, or even angel-style sweeping wings. Their breed can play a part in what kind of powers they have.

While the adult fairies are somewhat humanoid, their babies are not. Fairies lay eggs rather than having live births, and after a few weeks, the eggs hatch into bug-like grubs with tiny wings that don't yet work. Over time, the wings grow and the grubs grow more human-shaped. By the time they have reached the typical 'toddler' stage of life most fairies will have the ability to fly, and by the time they are 'school age' the grubs will look like fat misshapen children with wings. (Misshapen in the eyes of humans. Fairies see their children as beautiful and precious.) The onset of adolescence is what transforms the grubs into full-fledged fairies.

Among the fairies' power is that of alchemy and potions. They can often mix up a non-magical concoction and turn it into a magical potion, or they can enhance or alter the effects of a potion with a touch. For their abilities, fairies are often in danger. Humans and other species often take them captive and imprison them, forcing them to use magic for their own benefit. This is cruel and, in most places, illegal, because these demands can exhaust the fairies and because they are deemed to be creatures of sufficient intelligence to form a society rather than pets. However, some fairies have good relations with other species and may even choose to live with them and provide them with magical services in exchange for their protection. Another, more cruel use of captured fairies is that some of their body parts and their eggs and grubs can be used in certain potions and enchantments.

Fairy culture is very different than human culture, and they're generally more accepting of people who don't fit a certain mold, probably because there is so much diversity among their own species, and their appearances often differ from human rules. (For example, a male fairy with intricate sparkly wings would not be seen as strange in the fairy world, but a lot of humans would question it.) For this reason, humans and other creatures who feel like outcasts often bond with fairies. While there are rude fairies and even evil ones, that's not very common.

I would. And I would use my flame to toast marshmallows for them, and randomly cover them in sparkles when they did not expect it.

Yes, my magical flame will give them powers or maybe grant their wishes. Well, if their wish was to have powers, that would kill two birds with one stone.

Maybe if I breathed this glittery fire on them I'd just leave them kinda surprised and covered in colorful sparkles, and nobody will believe their explanation behind it.

Maybe I am a shape-shifter I don't really know, my hair changes around a lot. The medieval times certainly weren't the best years in which to live, but it's just fun to get dressed up and play games.

Technology can get pretty frightening, it's just really hard to predict how the future will be.
