The Janet Evanavich number novels, starting with "One for the Money" are about a not so talented gal from the Trenton Burg who becomes a bounty hunter because she has no real alternative to make money. Each novel is full of mystery and just plain fun.
As far as the "Fate/" series, The original TV that was released years ago, just forget it exists. Start with Zero and that rolls over into the current season.
The title was made to be funny. I had just watched "Life of Brian" and I cook. So no brainer.
