In Japan you get into adulthood when you turn 20 (here it is 18), though that is physically as about 15% population don't accept that when the time comes.
In other words you are old how you feel that you are. :)

I forgot what is called that guys usually wear, but then again at festivals and such there they usually are laid back or just put on traditional suit. xD
