I can't agree more, that's definitely true. :) I also can't wait for the expansion of Skyrim, because judging how good Shivering Isles were, I am sure that for this one it will be as well.^^
Same here, I played first two, but even if I wanted I couldn't get into them. They became later rather frustrating because of how complicated they were and how for some reasons there were too many bugs on my PC. As for Morrowind, it is pretty nice that you finished it. :D I myself only played for relaxation, not progressing too much.
You see?! These guys lie. XD Like in that one town where you get that mini quest to kill the spiders in that mine, miners are all like "Oh, this is just an ordinary iron mine", but inside is nothing else than ebony ore, LoL!
My friend also started playing it now and I always tease him when he asks me "Hey, how much do I need to level up to kill those frost trolls.. They annoy me!!" XD
And for that I really salute you. :D By the way, what is the dragon armor like? :O The only reason I didn't do smithing is because I found all the armor even without it... All except that one of course.
Oh haha, well as for me I played the whole Oblivion with almost only one handed sword and shield, rarely combining with something else, even magic. :D But in this game, I try to combine everything.^^
That's exactly why they're so fantastic, my favorite thing to do in Elder Scrolls games is wander around to find random things to do. They always pack so much into what's already a great game on its own. I've played a little bit of the first two, but I've never actually finished them. Morrowind is the only other that I've played and finished.
Lololol, I thought the exact same thing! That guy was like "want to run these supplies up there? Watch out for wolves." And of course I was like "pssh. I can handle anything this mountain can throw at me >:D" Then after getting destroyed by the saber cat and wolf I started saving after every turn. At some point I just started sprinting past everything.
Smithing was such a horror to level all the way up. But again, I really wanted dragon armor. So I spent an entire day sitting on my couch making iron daggers and jumping from town to town to buy materials XD I'm one-handed blade myself. I'm a sucker for the classic sword and shield combo~ :D
"Some people never go crazy. What truly horrible lives they must lead."
Maybe you have even completed more of Oblivion than me, you never know.^^ Because that is what I like with these games, you never know what next you are going to discover or where you will venture. Though even if I did complete it that many times (two on computer, once on X360) I actually played the first dungeon like ten times or so. It was SO hard for me to get into this kind of game, but then later... ohhh, how much I got into it. XD
Have you ever played any of the earlier TES games? :3
You don't have to tell me, I fully know what you mean. I am used to dying in this game, I probably died like one hundred times or so. I always want to kill someone and try some weird tricks even if it means repeating the same thing. And LOL, I know about that saber cat, Throat of the world killed me three times as well. XD In that town beneath it there were saying like "Watch out, I heard that there are wolves there..." And I was just like, "Wolves?? I can kill those with ease! :D" And when I got up there, there were no wolves!! Only frost trolls and saber cats. XD
Wow you got smithing up to 100?! That's impressive. :D I mean I know that there are various ways to do it and you just have to travel a lot and gain materials... But still, you need a lot of a patience and will for that, congrats.^^ Blade is also for me somewhere there (both two handed and one handed), but I do need to work some more on my sneak and smithing.
Now that is a cool dragon story!! :O 4 at once?! I haven't even seen 2, yet alone that many. XD
I completely know what you mean, I got Assassin's Creed Revelations a while back and still haven't gotten to it because I can't put Skyrim down. You have me beat in Oblivion plays, I've beaten the entire game and main story twice and have a bunch of saves just focusing on side stuff.
I can't count how many times I got killed by bears or something ridiculous coming out of nowhere while I was running through the forests at like level 5. I remember when I was climbing the mountain to go talk to the Gray Beards I got mauled by a snow saber cat and a snow wolf at the same time. It took me so many tries to get past them both. They definitely are much easier to handle at higher levels XD
I think the only skills I've got completely up to a hundred so far are sneak, blade and smithing. Smithing was absolutely a pain to level up, but I really, really wanted dragon armor. I think I've killed 2 of the ancient dragons as well. But, the only cool dragon story I have was when I was wandering to do an imperial army quest and ran into like 4 dragons just chillin' together. It was the most epic fight I've had in my entire Skyrim adventure XD
"Some people never go crazy. What truly horrible lives they must lead."
Well of course that I would notice!! :D LoL, I became like a sage in that game, with playing nothing at all in last six weeks or so. Seriously, I even have CoD MW3 here but I haven't even tried it, because Skyrim is the game that takes all the time. XD I completed Oblivion three times, but for this one, one time but by clearing all the quests is more than enough. :3
SURE THING!!! ^_^ We arrow-to-the-knee gamers only know from where it is. LoL, I think that only third portion of people that heard and know that joke from the internet, know that it is actually from Skyrim. :B
Oh yeah, bears used to be a pain for me as well. You will get used to them with weapons, later it becomes much easier. Now I have several things on or close to 100 skills and almost all weapons and armors, but it still addicting when unlocking and finding new stuff. Alchemy and alteration are the worst for me though. ;_; It is so hard getting skills in them... Illusion for example you can go around casting "muffle" and it gives skill levels quite fast, but with alteration anything that you cast almost gives nothing. XD
By the way, which dragons are you fighting now?? I came to the ancient ones and boy are they hard.. I only managed to kill two of them, but that also with lot of patience and help of extra a companion.
Haha sorry, I also got carried away with this reply.. :P
Ahaha! Yay, someone noticed and actually understands my custom title~ XD After prancing around in Skyrim slaying dragons I had to change it. Gosh, I have no idea how many hours I've put into it since I got it, I'm afraid to actually look, especially with how much I played during my break.
Asdfjhbve. You sir are a genius. Why in the world did I not think of making an arrow-to-the-knee joke in my signature? Although, I haven't stumbled on that many gamers here so it would probably fly over everyone's heads.
The bears in Skryim terrify me. They get all pissed when you wander up to where they're sleeping and try to nom your head. Hoard of necromancing vampires in a cave and dragons I can take, but I hate the bears and saber tooth tigers ;A;
/long reply about Skyrim is long :D
"Some people never go crazy. What truly horrible lives they must lead."
DOVAHKIIN?!! :O Awesome, I am already like 85 hours in that game and cleared... well quite much. XD
You should have put in your signature something like: "I used to not like anime at all, until I took an arrow in the knee..." :P
Aw, I do hope that you will get some snow fun there. :3 And you can then easily go and hunt in the woods... Bears are asleep then. XP
It surely is, most for the people on theO. It comes that we here are so confused with holidays and at the end breaks end up like this. Hopefully at least I have four weeks of my break. XD
Really?! LOTR is almost on the same level for me as HP, almost even better. :D These two movie series along with Star Wars are my childhood movies and my favorite of them all. And yup, they did come around on the same time. 2001 was the year when first LOTR movie came out and first HP movie. Ahhh, I still remember the commercials of them.^^
Yes, I did quite like the snow.. First days or so, later it can become annoying. XD
Of course and I will see to post the answers as soon possible. Thanks.^^
Aww, don't be.^^ XD Hehe, well I had four movies already, but then I had problems getting the rest three, but by that time four movies, so I decided to go with this, because it is also on Blue-ray.
Now I have four extra movies that I don't need. XP
Haha, I kneeeew that you will find this amazing and interesting to see!! :D I had to buy it now and not to wait for the price drop, because how fast it was sold there probably won't be any. XD Do you know that I still haven't seen the last movie?! It is because it just recently was released on the disc media and I didn't have the chance to watch it in the theaters. ;_;
That sounds legit, I am sure that you will do just great with voice meme. :D
Happy New Year! I'm not much of a Harry Potter fan, but I can respect how much you probably went through to get that lovely box set. I've done my share of spending and endless internet browsing to find limited edition/stock items. The weather in my nick of the woods has been very mild for winter, I'm really hoping for some snow once I leave home for school this week. My break is ending and yours is starting, how funny~ I hope you have a great break and a fantastic year! :D
"Some people never go crazy. What truly horrible lives they must lead."
Have fun watching all of that! I've only seen the first three HP films. I was always more of a Lord of the Rings Fan XD The films were released around the same time I think...
I had a good Christmas and a quiet new year. Did you enjoy the snow? I think it is pretty, but it makes getting around difficult...
I think you already have my questions for your voice meme, yes? ^^
OMGGGGGGG HARRY POTTER! LOOK AT THAT PILE OF AWESOMENESS. MY EYES. TOO. BEAUTIFUL. *dies*
But WOWZA. That's gorgeous, that's just... Oh, me want, me want. XD Anyhow, happy new year to you as well! :3 I hope you have a fantastic year, and that 2012 will be good for you~ I know we had a lot of great times in 2011, so let's make more for this year! Sorry to hear that you're still having comp problems. >.< I hope it gets fixed soon~ YAY! I can't wait for you to do a voice meme! I decided I'm going to do two, and the second will be me answering the questions with a British accent. Teehee. x3
