really? Well, food gets stuck in there more than braces but you can eat anything, like you can chew gum, and (I think) its way less painful.

really? wow, that's a relief. from what I heard, the expanders are like the most absolutely horrible thing that can happen to you...lol

yeah, palette expanders are better than braces because when you get wires or something changed it usually hurts for a day or two after but the p.e. only makes you feel a bit of pressure for a few minutes and you don't get bothered by pesky orthodontists as much.

aw, me sorry.. yeah, the palette expander is actually 34789 times better than braces although it does feel strange and is kinda painful on your sinuses when you crank the little knoby thing.. (um, I dunno what it's called..) Good luck! Again!

Aw man, that sucks. I have braces now, but you will be able to close your mouth.. soon.. I hope.. *shifty eyes* I already had a palette expander too.. I can't wait until my mouth is free of metal and cement.. ah well.. Good luck!

hopefully your dentist isnt a dum-tard and doesnt but a hunk of metal so you can't close your teeth together.

i had braces on both top and bottom teeeth. and an expander. but right now i only have a reatiner that i only have to wear at night. thankfully, my braces days are over. good luck with yours.
