It's enka-styled, so it has the whine to it, but some men that I've heard sing enka just sound really annoying or really boring, but his has a very pleasant and interesting feel to it. Jero is also really good...O.O Go check him out (unless I end up posting some stuff of his, but he doesn't really have very good music videos....'orz).
