the 8th graders get to do pillows, a teddy bear, boxer shorts, and a few things like that.
While teh 7th graders made:

• a draw string bag
• a pin cushion
• a tissue holder
• and a locker caddy. (supposed to be something to organize your locker. I never used it. x])

I'm not taking home ec this year, though. -_-;;
but yeah! I really want to make my own cosplay costumes. :D
cos every time I go to an anime convention, and I'm wearing some costume I ordered online, people are like, "I LOVE your costume. Its amazing. *takes my picture*". Dx I always feel so guilty, cos
1) I didnt make the costume. and
2) they're wearing their own costume that they made, and they're jealous of my costume. xAx

OMG Your skool calls it that too? OR F.A.C.S. for short... We had to sew pillows for 7th grade (I did a blue ipod). I totally screwed up and was among the last 10 to finish (_ _) I haven't really sewn anything since to tell ya the truth. Anyways...(sorry for rambling about that). It's kewl you got a book ^^ And cautious is good.

It'll probably be a long time before I actually post the comic up, though. .3.
xD I took a home-ec (or is now called family and comsumer science at my school. >.>) last year, in 7th grade. It was pretty basic, but I also bought a basic how to sew book. :> Hopefully, after a few months, I'll be able to sew without being so nervous. x] (During the whole class last year, I always sewed at the slowest speed possible... I was very causious about not messing up.)

Aww sweet! A new comic? *gets all happy* I know a lil bit about Japan. I mean not enough to go there and blend in but a lil bit.
