Street Punk - which is basically biker-styled stuff with the leather jackets and the chains 'n stuffs plus wacky brightly coloured hair that's heavily gelled in weird spikes...O.o;
Glam Punk - The trannsy looking punk. They've got the nice clothes with the bits of spice plus some pretty nice, but big hair.
Hardcore Punk - I don't know why it's called 'hardcore' since it's just some guys who've gelled there hair, wear some short sleeves and some jeans, and have lots of tattoos...O.o;
Crush Punk - the messy punk. They kinda look post-apocalyptic if you've ever seen Tank Girl or something, I think that's the kind of punk.
Pop-punk - Basically what's popular nowadays with teens. They wear what would pass as formal, but they jazz it up and make it 'cool' looking. Avril Lavigne and Green Day are pop-punk. They also wear lots of skinny jeans and stuffs...All I have to say for this is go outside or go to school and there are your perfect examples! XD
I don't actually know that much about punk and excluded lots of different types of punk 'cause I don't think you were interested. There's also punk lolita, which has leather, chains, piercings, but still has the cuteness of a lolita, but has a lot of that dark plaid. And with the punkier version of visual kei it has a lot of piercings, funky colour hair styles that are spiked everywhere, and colourful shirts.
I don't know what kind of punk you're looking for, but I'd say Miyavi is always a good example because he has very interesting clothing. I think he's punk...but I'm not totally sure...O.o;
