Turkey's been in Eurovision ever since 1975~ But anyway, YEAH, but we won 2nd place anyway, and that IS pretty good, but I'm honestly a bit surprised how there were actually performances better than Germany's(like Romania, sort of France and Azerbaijan) than came in a lower place...
But according to some comments on YouTube, it seems to be more about politics than the actual singing D':
