Yeah okay so. If you didn't already read Kasa's world post, she and I are neighbors on our floor at our college. I don't know how that happened. I don't... I didn't think that could even happen in the real world. xD PRETTY CRAY-ZAY, YO... But hey! I was totally fantasizing before I came to college, thinking "What if my roommate is someone from theO...?" And while that didn't quite happen exactly, it was pretty close. :V
BUT YEAH. TOTES COOL AND STUFF. 8D
Oh, I had my first day of classes today! c: Today I had Japanese 201 (which I have to audit. Baahh. :T), Intro to Geology, and 2-D Fundamentals in Art. I'm kind of worried about Japanese because I'm not sure how well my high school Japanese courses prepared me for college Japanese... and what seems like everyone in the class is at least a year older than me. xD;;;; BUT I'm hoping it'll be okay. I don't have any homework in Art yet, but the syllabus says I need 6 studio hours per week. Hope I can manage to do that when the homework and projects start up. .u.
On another note, I can't figure out my printer for the life of me. "orz S-SORRY... I'm going home this weekend for labor day, so I'll be able to scan those remaining comic pages then, I think. YEP!

Hey guys! I'm in college! I've moved into my dorm, and figured out the internet, so... yeah! Now I can finally tell you about college stuff. I'm still going to be pretty busy until like, Thursday, because freshman orientation is REALLY LONG WHAT THE HECK I HAD NO IDEA.
So yeah. I have to follow a schedule until Tuesday or Wednesday, so I don't have a lot of free time to come on here to keep you updated. :T Sorry about that. I want to draw and stuff, but since I don't really have much down time, I can't do that... Oh, but I do have the next two pages of that one SteGabe comic sketched out, so if I can hook up my scanner I can probably post them tonight. (I hate doing late night posts, but what can you do... ""orz) There's only one page after the next two. I wanted to upload all three together, but I want to at least post something pretty soon. ;3; The last page can wait, I guess.
Anyway, college is pretty much weird. Right now it feels more like camp because I'm being toted around with a group of girls from my dorm from place to place. BUT WHATEVZ... I think once orientation is done I'll be able to settle in a little easier.
Ummmm.... what else was I going to say. OH. I have SAI on my laptop here, but I didn't copy the settings I had for the brushes and things from my desktop version of SAI. So I'm not quite as comfortable coloring digitally here as I was back at home. THEREFORE, I may be slow to update digitally. I brought my traditional supplies though, so yepppp.
Anyway, I'm probably going to go to bed soon. orz After I upload those pages. YAY! Actually, I can't figure out the printer so I'll do that later.

I was rereading these old D.Gray-Man books, and I found this inside one of them:
What the heck?! xD; You probably won't find this as funny as I did. And if you can't tell, this is Stefan. I think this doodle is about 2 years old, and I remember being very embarrassed after I drew this because c'mon... shirtless Stefan. SCANDALOUS! Apparently I was so embarrassed that I hid this in a manga that no one else in my family read so no one would find it. (Instead of doing the logical thing of throwing it away...) There's also a message on the back:
"Because sometimes, I feel like drawing strange things."

I just found it funny that I had the audacity to doodle a half-naked Stefan in 10th grade... and then hide it in a manga. Stefan also looks completely different here... maybe it's the lack of shirt sunglasses, and the fact that he's wearing what look like skinny jeans? Idk.
On a different note, I move into my college dorm on SATURDAY AAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAH. I don't think it's really kicked in that I'm leaving for college yet. ""orz I'm used to going back to school in the first week of September, so this is weird. ;u;
I'LL TRY NOT TO IGNORE YOU ALL WHILST I AM COLLEGING... but if college gets to be too busy, I'll notify you guys of when I'm taking a break from theO. Hopefully that won't happen. ;3; And anyway, yep.

So, Otakon was a thing. :D Haha... Yeah. I went to Otakon this past weekend on Saturday and Sunday with my sisters and my sister's boyfriend. We dressed up and had a lot of fun! As I said in the previous post, I dressed up as Leorina from Klonoa 2: Lunatea's Veil for the PS2. Here's what my costume looked like:

This was my first time making my costume instead of buying it, so I think it came out pretty decent...! xD; You can't see all of my horrendously uneven seams from far away. >3>;; I made the shirt, belt, ring, and crown, Takara helped me with the cape (I was busy cutting the pieces for her costume. xD), and Takara made the ascot for me because I was lazy. 8D I bought the boots, leggings, gloves, and wig.
I got recognized a couple times! 8D I wasn't really expecting to get recognized since not many people play the Klonoa games, but since my sisters and I made our costumes all from the same game I think it helped us be more recognizeable... So hooray! The only downside about this cosplay was that the boots were REALLY REALLY uncomfortable. My legs ached so bad when we came back on Saturday that I didn't wear the costume on Sunday. xD; But maybe I was just being dramatic. .u. but no, it really hurt
Aaanyways, while I didn't participate in any of the events (for some reason, we rarely do), I bought some stuff! :D I got
...and I think that's it? It's more than I usually buy from cons. xD I always want to buy lots of prints, but they're all too good and I CAN'T CHOOSE AAAAGH. There was also this hilarious Professor Layton posable figure that I totally would've bought if it wasn't $60. xD It was funny because he was wedged between these robot figures and superhero figures. TOTALLY FITTING IN, PROFESSOR...
I wanted to stick around for the masquerade on Saturday, but it was too late for us. :T We thought it started at 7, but it actually started at 8 while the seating started at 7. POOP! But oh well. I probably wouldn't have been able to handle the walk to the stage, anyways, since it was in a separate building. xD my feet ohhhh
Anyways, that's that. The next convention I'm going to go to is probably Katsucon, which is usually in late winter. I'll probably be in the same costume, too. :V Woo hoo!

Hey guys! I think I briefly mentioned that I'm going to Otakon this year. I meant to mention it earlier, but I kept pushing it off until the actual weekend of the convention... oops.
Anyway, I'll be at the convention on Saturday and Sunday. 8D Oh, and my older sister will be there too! This year we decided to try and actually make our costumes like REAL COSPLAYERS. ...although, we have almost no sewing experience, so... it was really rough. xD; We decided to more or less go as a Klonoa 2 cosplay group. I'm going as Leorina and Takara is going as Tat. We're actually still working on them...! ;u; HAHA... Takara's going to make my scarf, and I'm going to add a collar to her dress. Since our costumes aren't done, i can't really post pictures... but I'll try to post some pictures after the convention! :D
I'm assuming there's not going to be many Klonoa-themed cosplays, so if you're going to Otakon and you see a Tat, Leorina, and Klonoa, it's probably me and my sisters. Feel free to say hi if you see me! :D Though I don't really know if any of you are even going to Otakon this year... >u>
Aaaanyway, sorry for not really being active this past week. ""orz I've been busy working on my costume. (and being lazy...) I do check everything in my backroom, though. When the convention's over, I'll try to get back into the groove of things and comments/etc. :D
Also, it was my otakuversary on Tuesday! :D I actually thought it was yesterday... but I was wrong. -u-b This marks my 5th year on theOtaku.com. WOO HOO. I was actually wanting to be really cool by posting a thank you pic as my 300th picture on my otakuversary. But that didn't happen, so.... >3>;; It is almost my 300th picture upload, though. Anticipate it to be a thank you to everyone. 8D
