I actually talked to kobashi many months ago and I can't believe he got like this.....I noticed he has this little something for duels, but i never thought the story would go this far......he decayed in my eyes~I thought he can be trustworthy but now I see the truth.....
Banning him and the other 'protagonists' was the best thing, from my point of view.....Such things defenetely shouldn't happen on chat.....
I have to confess once it must've happened to me to drop a hint to a dirty expression, but it was only that once and no matter how I was falling apart inside, I mustn't write it.....I am deeply sorry for that thing that happened so many moths ago.....

Leaving me aside, let me say this again: banning these guys from chat was the best thing to do.....this show again that someone's freedom ends where the another's freedom begins(in speech~in this case)

That's an upgrade I want to implement. The ability to temporarily take away chat privileges. Right now the way the software is set up, the only way to completely ban someone from chat is to ban them from the entire site. The function to distinguish between the two isn't fully implemented yet. Mind you this is when you feel the ban should be longer than 24 hours, if it's shorter than that the tools we have now are fine.

Anyway I'm not really interested in defenses out in the open since I'd rather not see this turn into a fight of he said she said. But I would like to have more options so those who truly are sorry don't need to make a new account to return. They'd still be out of chat, but not out of the rest of their account during the duration of a chat ban.

Now that the server move is more complete upgrading the system so we can have more flexibility for dealing with bans from chat... is on the list of moderation upgrades to be done.

Not to take away from the seriousness of this, but I read the name "shimaru" and was like, "OH CRAP, WHAT DID I DO?????" Even I'm getting confused now! LOL

You don't see one since that kind of offense gets you banned from the site as a whole, not just from chat. Innuendos we're a lot more lenient with since most people never go any further with it and stop when asked too.

That wasn't even a tough decision to make; that was a vile log. That went way beyond goofy "If you know that I mean"s and rockets into the pathetic. I feel sorry for the poor guys that walked in on it. *shudders*
