he's really sweet and always wants pats or to play, but it is not the same. my old cat had no tail, just a stump. so we called it her wiggy. I miss that wiggy :(
I'm the same with my Mindy, she's my baby and I'm her mommy. My mom even refers to herself as grandma when she's with Mindy. I'm sorry you had to give away your furry baby, I hope you have a great bond with your new kitty.
I ABSOLUTELY ADORE CATS. I have 2 of my own, one of which I got recently. I had to give up my cat cause she was too aggressive to my mother. she was my child, practically. even my mother addressed me as her mum. I really miss her, but my newer cat is cool, too (But not as cool). I named him Onyx.
