It's because of where you live maybe. Getting tan is dangerous anyways especially these days where x-rays have gone mad.
You see, you get a tan, but you also get a chance to get a cancer. And tan goes away anyway if you have a pale skin later on during the winter.

well i burn bright red, like a lobster. then it all peels off and i go back to being pale. it never tans.

i'm short actually. my hair is light brown, but it is long-ish. i have blue eyes actually. but i am fair skinned. sadly i cannot tan at all.

well, my hair is blondeish, but it's not wavvy. i do have freckles though. and i am strong.
