I remember having light up shoes as a kid... They were so amazing... I wore them so much that the lights fell out of them. But I still wore them. I wore them until mom noticed my toes were blistering. Then she made me get new shoes and threw the old ones out xD A few years back I found some light up flip flops in my size that I adore now to this day :D
I just got glasses for the first time about a year ago, and there still are a couple of times where they feel kinda uncomfortable. I hope that your adjustments on the new pair go smoothly.
