I know that feeling pretty well. When I was really young, my parents and my older brother went to Hong Kong and China for a couple weeks, leaving other brother and me at home with my grandma (we were too young, probably, among other things). I remember how weird that felt too. Of course now, my mom and stepdad go on trips all the time, so it's kinda normal now.
Heh . . . I do wanna go to New York again, though. Too young to fully appreciate it the first time.
I'll wish Eleine the best from my end too. It's probably the least I can do.
