Well that was actually quite awhile ago. Since that time the collage did a major renovation and put a cafe near the front entrance of the building. But back then I think the people who ran the place expected the students to either bring their own lunch or go out to one of the restaurants nearby. Or just get something from the bookstore. I guess they thought that vending machine was just as good an option.
Oh come to think of it, that's very true. But I prefer pills as they are easier for me. ^^
Wow, that's the only place you guys can get lunches? That's kinda.....sad...... Isn't the school worried about your guys health? Our school district is always talking about health and stuff.
Well when you think about it, the nose is a more direct path to the brain than something you swallow. One of the reasons I don't take it anymore is because it leaves a really bad aftertaste in the back of the mouth.
As for the sandwich, that vending machine was the only place in the collage to get lunch. And for the record, that machine did sometimes have burgers or chicken sandwiches that weren't half bad. And not once did I get sick from eating any of those.
There are nasal sprays for migraines? That's something new for me. :D I thought they're only for colds/stuffy noses.
Haha, why would you buy a sandwich from a vending machine? It's not safe. xD
That's still a long way to go....good luck with that. >.>
Don't jinx yourself! For all you may know, they may end next year, next month, or even next week!
I did used to take a nasal spray for them. Now it's just a pill. Plus in a pinch I can take some advil.
Actually I don't get migraines as often as I used to. I have had a few bad ones in the past, though none that have made me throw up.
Well, now that I think about it I may have had one like that, but I think I threw up because I ate a bad fish sandwich from a vending machine and the migraine was a coincidence.
Uhm... I heard that older, around 30-40, you have less migraines and they tend to disappear then. It is less painful with time. Anyway, 12-20% of adults only have migraines so, who knows, maybe I won't have them anymore before 30 (but I have the feeling I will still have them though, I'm naturally very sensitive about noise and light XD).
Oh, yeah, I know that! It's awful @__@
I have migraines since I was 14 or so... My friend too, I think, even before. We're more than 20 now so we got used to it (thanks God)!
Wow, really? It never happened to me, it must feel so awkward to even forget who you are! At least it was only temporary but still :S
Well, school's over- thank goodness. xD
Trust me, you don't EVER want to get a migraine worse than what you have. It really kills the brain. >.>
But it still must suck for you to have migraines often! Do you have medication or anything for them?
Definitely! I was so annoyed whenever my family members were talking! I knew they weren't really yelling, but it felt like it when I had the migraine! Gosh, it's such a pain in the butt to have.
Wow, studying and walking? That must've taken a while to get the hang of! One of my friends blanked out in the middle of class and forgot who she was when she got a sudden migraine. The nurse asked for her info, but she didn't even have a clue of it at that time!
Yup, light, noises... these are things to avoid while having a migraine! The best thing to do is to lie down in the dark and silence.
Aw, yes, poor thing, she does! But theirs are a bit different, it's called a neuralgia and it's like a migraine but way worse. The symptoms are the same... :'(
I think it's better to wait after the migraine is over to go see the doctor! lol And, I don't know why we can walk and study while having migraines... I guess we're used to it but, sometimes, we really have to stop doing anything!
I must say I really hate throwing up so I don't unless it's necessary... I control myself there since I was a kid, that's why. And, yeah, throwing up is part of migraines. Also, light and noises can be enhanced...
Wow, light actually affects it? Thanks for the heads up! Next time, I'll bury myself under the blankets :P
Your friend has it worse? Man, I feel so bad for her! I used to not think migraines were that bad, but that was because I had never experienced it before.
I hate going to the doctors. How can you even go when you have a migraine? I even had trouble sitting up after laying down!
Dang, you were able to control yourself throwing up? I tried to, but then I still wasn't able to prevent it! So I'm guessing throwing up is also a part of having a migraine?

It is horrible but I am used to it! I can even prevent myself from throwing up now, yay :) A friend of mine have them worse so we cry together at school lol
Well, if that happens again, go see a doctor and you will do tests and stuff and, then, you should have a special treatment for it, since it's different for everyone. I don't personally have a treatment for it, though, but I can tell that some fresh air or cold water on the forehead always help. Some few tips if it happens again :) Oh, and better stay in the dark, light often make things worse! :s
Yep! I'm so glad! I have a party I'm going to today, and I was so excited, so I didn't want to miss it. But, on the bright side, the migraine allowed me to get more sleep, since usually, my mom wakes me up really early, and I end up getting 5-6 hours of sleep (since she doesn't know I sleep late, and if she was to find out, I'd be dead) :P
My sis can be really awesome sometimes, when we aren't fighting or anything, which hasn't happened in a long time already. I guess it's what happens when kids start to mature. :D
You're so lucky! You definitely don't want to EVER experience them! For me, the pain took over my whole head, but there was one, almost like a line, part of my head where the pain was sharpest. You can feel the nerves squeezing itself, and it feels like the whole brain is getting squeezed!
What?! You have them every week?! That must be so horrible! Mine lasted for 2 hours, and I already felt like dying- but for yours to last 2 days, how do you stand that?!
Ah, that explains why I never had migraines before. xD Did your doctor ever mention how to prevent it?
A migraines...! I hope you won't have these again! I have one at least once a week and it last for at least 2 days each times... :'(
Anyway, my doctor told me they often first appear when we're teenagers but it doesn't mean it last for everyone :) Glad you feel better now!

Some collages have like a food court, but this one didn't.
