The extra credit is only given to 2 kids, and the 2 that got it were those who were just hanging on to a passing grade in class, so it's kinda like, they deserve it. ^^
AND I had a lot of fun doing the experiment since I've actually never done it before!

Take a Mentos. Poke a hole through it with a needle and feed a black thread through it. Tie a knot at one end. Take a bottle of Coke (be it a 2 liter or smaller one a person would drink him/herself) and open it. Stick the threaded Mentos just so it's lined up with the top of the bottle. As you hold the thread over the edge, screw the cap over; trim the remaining thread. The idea is that a person doesn't know they're a Mentos dangling in their soda. So when they unscrew the cap - POOF SPLURSH!! Choose your victim AND location wisely. :D
