Career? It's funny, I just updated my bloggy thing about that. I'm going to become an EMT-B in the near future. Intermediate future, Paramedic. And probably ten years from now, I'd hope to be a Radiologist. :]

When it comes to things that you know you love but you can't seem to get the motivation to do, playing around is sometimes the best. You can take a break, just fiddle with it, do whatever. Something you love shouldn't be a chore. If you really love something, you'll come back to it.
That girl looks like someone I used to go to school with... only with funky hair and make-up eyes that need to seriously stop. B/

Oh yeah, forgot to answer the career question. Hmm...
Definitely nothing high-stress. Something where I could be my own boss, at least to a certain degree. I'd really like to write and get published. I just have to get around to writing something first.

Aw! Don't give up playing the piano! I'm trying to get back into the swing of things with regards to my piano since I'm (trying) to teach some other kids how to play. Good stuff, it really is. Brings me back to when I was taking serious piano lessons....then I switched major and all was lost............. But don't you stop! :D .... D:
What happened to your photoshop? It almost sounds as though you're just maturing in your tastes or something. I feel the same way with drawing; I'm not into a lot of anime as much as I used to be. I still like it, but it's not the same now. (I think I'm getting old and crusty...)

I had the same issue with my own piano playing back in high school. I was losing interest, never practiced like I should have, and we were paying $50 a month for lessons. I kind of wish I'd kept at it though, because now I'd probably have to learn it all over again (although it might not take as long since I did it once).

And I understand about the motivation thing, even for things you love. I really love Japanese and love learning it, but sometimes I get down and I just lose track of why I majored in it in the first place.
Oh, and I want to be a Japanese translator. :V Yeah.
