Well, her mom was a singer. I just remember reading everything about her before and thinking 'She totally was set on being a singer'...then I read that and I'm like 'Wuh-wait...'...XD
Ah, those sound like really cool dreams! *.* Concert pianist? Oooh! You must've been an interesting little kid! XD I never really know what my parents where when I was little so I never really wanted to be whatever they were (my dad is like some kinda manager having do with cars...O.o; And my mom does too many other things to be called by one profession). Oooh! I'd like to see you in Hollywood! *.* There's that one guy on DA who worked on the concept art for Snow White and the Huntsman, and you can TOTALLY see, and it's totally amazing!
Yeah, I guess you just have to try hard and keep your dreams going to fulfill these dreams. It's very good to have dreams, if not then what are you going to do?
Are summer classes are good thing or a bad thing? At least you'll get something productive done when you come back after each day. For me, if I don't do something productive then I won't do anything at all, which kills me. So I have to keep doing something...that I don't want to do, which in the end I'll never do. So is the endless chain of laziness...;m;
Come to California! Haha, but I hope you'll be able to get to where you really wanna go. You will as long as you bellliiiieeve! It's so cool that Utada wanted to be a scientist in a white lab coat! I wonder what inspired her to become a singer :) Hmm, I don't remember what I wanted to be as a child, but I guess I wanted to be a nurse like my mom. But after that, I either wanted to be a really famous concert pianist, or a well-known author. Right now, I want to pursue working for Hollywood pictures in the art department, mostly with concept art and stuff like that. Realistically, this probably won't ever happen, but having the dream keeps me sane and keeps me motivated to work hard.
Just keep your dreams, believe in them, so that you'll do whatever it takes to achieve them. I know it sounds ultra cheesy, but it's always good to have these dreams to keep ya going! So I do hope you'll be where you want to be :)
Down time during the summer is the worst. It's like, you have so much time to do what you need/want to do, but those things don't get done sometimes XP I'm stuck taking summer classes :/
