Ah, I can see lip-synching maybe being a problem...but I don't think Zelda does much talking anyways! XD
I love MMORPGs...but I can't download them 'cause they're so huge...it makes me sad...I want to play Aion! TT^TT That...that character creation is...so detailed I love it (except for the clothing part, but I don't really care about that so much).
Haha! XD Yeah, I liked doing stuff like that, too! XD I liked trying to make up a storyline for the character in Super Smash Bros. and then do tournament-ish things with them! XD
Haha! XD I had a terrible time of remembering where I was suppose do go in Tales games...especially if I didn't know my directions...Like they'd say go 'East' and I'm like 'Which way is East!?' or they'd say to go to some place and I would go to where they said...but I would go everywhere around it so I would never see it...'orz
I don't wanna be a game designer, though! XD I Just like playing around...O.o;
Omigosh, thanks for posting this! I love looking at screenshots of games~!
The graphics look decent, though I can see where they could get awkward (like lip-syncing). And Zelda.
Oh Zelda.
She looks like she's say, "I'm here, because I was told there would be popsicles!"
I personally like her as a brunette, but blonde is okay too. Not greenish neon look-guys-I-found-the-most-obnoxious-color-ever though.
I've always loved adventure in games. I love being able to mess around and do things in the background that aren't important but are cool anyway. I usually get it all out of my system in MMO's, just because that's the type of game they are. But I'd love more open adventure in other games too.
In Super Smash Brothers I'd play the Subspace Emmisionary and just mess around with characters. I just thought it was fun to mess around with so many different areas with various people. Like having Samus climb the mountain from the Ice Climbers, or Pit fly around in a Zelda forest. Peach in a Fire Emblem castle. This could go on forever.
I understand about the whole 'I like adventure, but don't over do it with open land of nothing'. I felt like some Tales games had a hard time balancing that. And in Symphonia, if you didn't catch the directions the first 3492489 times they told you, you'd wind up lost.
I don't know. You need to hurry up and be a game designer and do the world justice!
Yes, same here about Twilight Princess...the map wasn't as huge and there weren't as many places to accidentally run into...
I watch gameplay videos all ze time, mon! XD I like them...there are just some games I can't play because they're too scary or because I don't have it or the console to play it on...or I'm just really bad at the game and can't get through certain parts anyways...>.>
Aghh, I know what you're talking about! They're called Wall Masters, though...I think...even though they come from the ceiling...just about anything in the Shadow Temple scares the crap outta me...and I can barely step foot in the Shadow Temple..."orz
Wha!? I don't understand. The toon style is THE.BEST.STYLE! At least for gaming, but if we're going with concept art is bland and ugly...but it's so sleek and gorgeous~! <333 I think Skyward Sword will have little details here and there for fun. And oh, boo, you don't have a wii...TT^TT I don't have a wii motion plus, either...so we're both at losses with what we have...'orz
I dunno about Final Fantasy, I've only played the really old games which weren't really open world...but I heard some of the Final Fantasy games are...not that I've played any of them...O.o;
Pfft...I'm lazeh...'orz And I think I got most of my friends into it...it's a pretty scattered topic...but I would say if you speak to anybody about Sailor Moon they will most likely have something to say positively about it...or with Spirited Away...but I've gotten more people to become anime fans just by talking to them about Sailor Moon...XD
You're not the only one! I LOVE games (like Zelda hehe) where you're pretty much free to move about the entire game world and aren't confined to dungeons or mission areas. I haven't played Wind Waker, but that's what I loved about OOT. I thought TP wasn't quite as open, but it was still fun.
HAHA moblins. I just looked up a video of the moblins on YouTube and now I kind of feel like watching a video of someone running through OOT. What a waste of time.. not even playing it but watching someone else play it. I'm such a bum :l But anyway moblins. So annoying...actually the most traumatizing monsters for me were umm.. those HANDS that dropped down from the ceiling in some of the temples. Don't have a name.. but DFNSKFRT I would flip so hard when I was in a room that had those... the actual monsters weren't really that bad but just the thought of having something attack me from the ceiling was kind of extremely creepy.
I'm excited for this new game...but I dunno if they'll have it for Xbox :/ My brothers sold our Wii so I can't play Zelda games now. I'm not so sure if I like these graphics though... they are definitely closer to the toon style which isn't my favorite but maybe I'll get used to them. I don't remember flying in TP....unless it was that time at Lake Hylia when you were in the Twilight realm and you flew that huge black bird up to... was it Zora's Domain? Haven't played in a long while...And you are right about Zelda's hair...eesh. Her TP/SSB look is definitely the best. Oh well.
I wish there were more open world games as well... except then I would probably be playing video games WAY more than I should be >> I am going to watch that trailer though. Hmm...I have also never played Final Fantasy... are those games open world?
I'm totally interested in seeing some of those designs. So GET ON IT jk.. that's so cool that you have friends that are into that though. I don't know many people who seem to be interested in it.
