It's a good read...though...it has yet to make enough sense...it's about um...I think they were called shadows or something, these people with these cards that are half bonded to them so they have to drink blood to stay human whenever they use too much of their thingy-ma-doo...O.o; I think the artist just makes it up as she goes, but the art is gorgeous!

XD Umineko is my second biggest fandom...I'm a little obsessed orz
I'd definitely recommend the novel. It doesnt actually show any deaths or anything, but the sounds and writing are amazing in and of themselves. :) The Anime is good for the first chunk, and then it tries to end without wrapping up in the same way as the novel and messes itself up XD
The whole story is REALLY well done though, and in the novel ALL of the characters are really well developed. :) It's a huge inspiration for me, how well Ryukishi07 wraps the whole thing together :3
XD I have a ton of inspirations, but I'd never be able to just name them on call. I usually get inspired without actively knowing that I'm inspired BY something XD
What I did is copy and paste the picture, set is so it's where you want it over the square (so it doesn't cut everything off), and then select the white square and then on the layer of the picture copy and paste the picture then delete the layer under it and it will fit in the square...if that makes any sense...O.o; Just cut around it to fit in there.

I don't know anything about Umineko no Naku Koro Ni....XD Maybe little bits here and there, but I've never played the games or watched the anime or anything I've just heard the music...XD
Influence memes are fun. I do them a lot 'cause I have so many influences...'orz

It's an online game (except you download it) where you have music and then you have to click the circles or follow the loops to the music (rythm, beat, voice, etc.).
I dunno if I'm into that either...I don't think I've ever heard of metal/trance music! XD

Umineko is called a sound novel for a reason ;)
Once I beat the first four chapters, I used the music box as bacground music for a while *__* Now I have the next set of chapters though (Chiru) and so I had to install it over the first four :( But still awesome :) The anime didn't do half bad in this regard either :3
I always love looking at influence maps...but Id be afraid I wouldnt come up with enough~ XD

Ahh all of those styles are so great ; ; I love that semi-realistic style.. I just wish I was good at it because it's really cool looking. But I can definitely see it in your style. Out of these I don't think I see any particular one that resembles your style the most, but I think there are little elements of all of them in your art.

Ooh I like the levan Polkka trance remix...normally I'm not that into dance/techno sounding music but I enjoy the cool and catchy stuff. Lately I've found some bands that are like metal/trance mix..dunno if you're into that. But I think it's cool haha.
