Hehe, yes, do what I did! XD Suck it up and just do it already! XD
Wow! You're so smart! I bet you get good grades in English. I used to sleep next to my dictionary...but I dunno what happened it...O.o I would read it sometimes, but it never really helped me! XD Good idea, though...I'd try it if I had my dictionary...wherever it may be...>.>
Ok, thank you very much! I've found quite a few good books dealing with Japanese at my local libraries, so I guess I should just suck it up and study hard X3
I always keep a dictionary next to my bed; having one on hand helps so much! :D I suggest you do the same if you're worried about misusing words like I am.
Oh, don't worry! XD I can handle questions, plus I just finished my daily things before I went to bed, so I'm fine, just not enough time to do TJLA. And TJLA...aw, I'm sorry you chickened out. It really is pretty uncomfortable...and I guess it's okay to start out. But I bought this book called "An Innovative Approach to Learn Japanese" or something like that, and it's helped me WAAAAY more than TJLA has. In TJLA are we are doing are memorizing words and characters. And, yes, that's what we should be doing, but still, I don't think it's that big of a deal.
Buy a Japanese Language Learning book for like $20 dollars and you'll know the basics in a year, or take TJLA and learn the basics in two years. Books are faster, so I suggest you use books, and don't worry to much about TJLA. I got in over my head, but I'm still glad I did it because it pushed me more, though I learn waay less from it than from the book I have.
Dictionary!? YOU'RE A GENIUS!!! O.O I never thought of that...O.O
You certainly have a lot on your plate. But I'm sure it will all work out :]
I hate to ask you a question when you're so busy, but I've been meaning to ask you: is the TJLA worth it? I was going to join it earlier, but I chickened out and decided I wouldn't have to time. If you think it's a good idea, I'll join the next class, lulz.
Anyways.
Yeah, I always pull out my handy dandy dictionary for slang words/jargon people use and I want to know if they are using them correctly. I occasionally find a second meaning to a word and have a mini face palm lulz.
G'luck with everything and I hope you get to relax soon!
