Gucci Bags

I just saw an advertisement for Gucci bags...Aren't they really popular or something? Well, they're HIDEOUS...I don't see how such ugly bags could get popular. Are they made out of some kind of special material or something?

That that black one's a sexy bag...>:3 Ooh, yes, wrinkly, shiny, black purses are really gorgeous!

I hate that pattern that gucci bags have (well most of them) with the circles...I really don't like repetitive patterns...On anything....It has to have something different everywhere to keep my interest and to keep me wanting to look at it (though I'm not sure if checkers count...O.o).

Ah! XD That was pointless! XD

I've gotten halfway down my list...of manga from B-D...orz...TT^TT

I've found some good ones, some shounen ai and some shoujo...I've been in a shoujo mood today! ^A^

Oh! But I came upon a REALLY well draw manga...It's...just...so realistic...All the positions look like pictures taken from real life, it's GREAT and it's also very hilarious, but with real hilarity...Not that...comedy isn't real...O.o

External Image

It's called Beshari Gurashi. It's about Japanese comedy...well, this guy who wants to be a comedian. At first I didn't think I'd like it because...I didn't think I really liked Japanese comedy...but...it just has some hilarious parts! XD I guess you have to think in more of a realistic style. Like if you were there in person hearing their comedy or see them doing such funny things, how would react? For me, when I watch comedy on TV I'm really strict and I rarely laugh, but when I see it in real life I just can't stop laughing even if it's really stupid! XD

Though I get annoyed when people keep making sexual jokes...>.> I mean, sometimes they're funny, but they're really boring. I can just go on and on with sexual jokes and the kids at my table (lunch table, the band table, though I'm not in it, most of my friends sit at that table and I guess I'm popular since my brother is popular at that table...XD High School is weird...XD)...But sometimes the kids at that table laugh at me for strange reasons and it makes me feel really bad...Like I like holding people's arms...(their arms, not their hands, I mean literally...when I'm bored and they're not doing anything with theirs I'll just pick it up and play with them) and they just started laughing at me calling me weird and then my friend, who never laughs at me when I do that to her laughed and me and called me a weirdo....TT^TT Well, I think it's because she liked the guy...>.> I don't like him...he's mean and not funny and he has a really bad tone of voice...>.> Like he sounds like he's making fun of you when he talks, even if it's just normally, and he never seems to be...at peace, I guess...>.>

Well, sorry about that! XD I kinda went onto another topic! XD

Then the rest were shoujo...that were...good, I guess. There's one that I kinda like where there is this girl who goes to the library often and one day she falls asleep and somebody kisses her and she wakes up to find only the handsome boys of her school in the library, so she wonders who did it...

It's called Boku wa Kisu de Uso wo Tsuku. 'tis very interesting...I'm for ze kitty boy no matter what! X3 I like his hair and...he likes cats! *thumbs up*

.....

........

Wait a minute....I'm not half way! XD I'm half way down a PAGE, but not half way down my list...I haven't even gotten tot he C's yet...maybe I should stop reading this one crappy manga I'm reading...It goes way too fast, the art is crappy, and the lines are stupid, but story is...okay...Ehhh....*tosses it*

I'm not going to finish by school time...XD

Plus I want to work on some manga...tomorrow...I just need to find 3 notebooks, because I want to be organized this time (because last time I wrote my story in my notebook, then wrote something else, and this was the same notebook I had written other things in, and then I drew the story, and it was all messed up)...

GAH!! TT^TT My computer is running really slow...as if I'm typing faster than my computer can comprehend it...TT^TT So if there are things misspelled it's because I was typing so fast and my fingers were going everywhere and I may have typed the wrong key at the wrong time or in the wrong place and I didn't see it because I don't see the text until like 2 seconds after I type it.....>.>

Back to what I was saying. I need 3 notebooks, one for the script or outline (I actually like writing it in a light novel style format so that it's easier to remember what I was thinking and it seems more like a scene in my head than people talking), one for the name (read Bakuman...I don't even know if that's an official word of something Obata/Ohba-san made up...It's basically an outline, really simple, so that you know what you want to do and what angle and stuff and what you want in each panel and how you want it to flow on the page), and one for the somewhat final product, where I'd draw it all out how I want ti to be, but then I'll redraw it all on the computer and see if I want to fix anything (that way I can try to make the best quality).

Oh! Oh! I just feel like giving random tips and advice from my point of view! From my point of view, when doing manga I would suggest that instead of doing scripts, write it out in a light novel format. This is so that you can more clearly picture what's going on and better capture the feelings of the character and page.

A light novel format would be somewhat like a novel, but with less description and more dialogue, but it's paced at the right kind of pace. Like if there was action going on, you would either just add in random sound effects or quickly describe random things, like if you were to name moves that the fighter was doing (if they're fighting). Or if it's slow and suspenseful you would describe in more detail the surroundings of the character. And usually it's done in first person (though you don't have to do that, I've just noticed a lot of the light novels I've read are in first person) so you can better capture the main character's feelings.

(Guhhh...I just accidentally read spoilers for Bakuman...I hate you Takagi...>.> I should really get back to reading that...XD But I'm annoyed by Takagi's love life...>.> It's creating unneeded drama when I just want to know about Mashiro and Eiji...>.>...*cough* I'm talking about the manga rivalry! Not pairing up of Mashiro and Eiji! XD)

Anyways! XD Then with the name-- I mean outline thingy...I can't find any pictures, unfortunately...orz...So i'll just try to explain it. It's basically where you draw out the paneling, and then you write the dialogue and everything, but you kinda draw the actual pictures in the panel, just make them really simplified so you get the general idea. And you can put little notes saying what angle and emotions and stuff like that. If you've ever seen the pages that Ohba-san did for Death Note, then you'll know what I'm talking about. They're simplified and not that great...I actually think they're called thumbnails, now that I think about it...O.o

They're pretty useful, because I usually mess up a TON when I just straight and draw the actual manga without any outlining. Outlining is your best friend in any art situation. You usually get better quality outcomes when you do.

Now, I know you're probably wanting to go back and look at my pitiful attempts at manga...TT^TT I know what to do...I just haven't done it, or have lost interest in what I'm doing so I never post it (that or I have a really mean scanner who won't let me scan it properly...STOP PUTTING LINES THROUGH MY ART, YOU EVIL SCANNER! TT^TT).

I'm probably going to do a series of one shot shoujo manga...Then if I'm in the seinen mood I'll do that...but not right now. Right now I'm focusing on shoujo manga one shots...because for me their more fun and interesting and easy. For seinen you have to think of a short plot, a good plot, and a good ending. For shoujo manga, when it's a romance, all you have to do is make a good plot, tell it well, and then the girl gets the guy, and there, it's over....But if I come up with something good and I post it and I get a lot of feedback and support I might make it longer or continue it...But that's only if I get that kind of motivation...and if I post something...O.o

Saying that, if I do post something and you guys beg me to continue it, but it's not something that I could actually continue, then I'm not going to continue it. Like if it ends up being kind of like a triangle love or something, something with more candidates and what-not, then I'll continue it. But if it's just a plain black and white ending, I'm not continuing it.

By the way, 360 isn't supposed to be a plain black and white romance thing. We have Mariko who love Kiyoshi already, and then you have Kiyoshi who seems to become more close to her, but I actually have several people to mix in to make that black and white more colourful! >:D Kiyoshi has a rival, also, and there's other members of 360, y'know...>:D

I'd post another chapter of 360...if I knew what was going to happen...O.o i'm a bit clueless right now....XD

Ummm...I should get back to reading manga...LONG LIST! EEP! TT^TT

Guuhhhhh..TT^TT

SO MANY MANGA TITLES! TT^TT

Now I'm only on the D's , yet I still have a long way to go...but I have like 3 pages of manga I want to read.

And I go back on the 12th of August...TT^TT Ugg...I don't want to go back to school! TT^TT

And Pink-Pineapple gave me back the idea to actually plan out manga in a notebook...And I want to do that...I just don't know what I want to do. I want to do a new manga that nobody's ever heard me talk about and I want to make it a one shot...but I can't think of anything...So I keep reading all this manga to get an idea...but all I want to do is read more manga.

I almost got some ideas...but they were too complicated...O.o Like one where everybody lives forever...Well then, what about the birth and death rates? If everyone was immortal then resources would be used up and the world will become over populated...So that doesn't work...>.>

I mean, I know that's not very complicated...But that's how I think. Like if this fantastical thing happens, could it really happen and how would that work in the world....O.o Just has to makes sense...

Now after reading one harem manga...which...I didn't really like the story or the art style (but I'm still reading it...XD) made me want to write one! XD Or one with school girls or something...I just feel like putting a bunch of random characters of the same gender in a manga! XD

But then I went back to an old idea..but I'm not going to tell it in case I might want to use that, but then I just spoiled it..Though I'm not sure how I could make it into a one shot...

I also have several visual kei characters...They're all in the same band...And I was thinking of making a series of short stories with them or something...O.o I really like them, but I don't seem to ever draw them! XD

Hrmm...I've been wanting to a series of short stories or something...O.o That'd be fun and pretty good for practice...

Well, I'm going to back to reading manga (because I'm stopping at D to go back and read the rest that were on my list to see what I'll like and what I won't).

Oh! And Takashi Tsutomu has peaked my interests...He does mostly psychological seinen drama manga and they're all really interesting and intense and the art looks awesome, but it's fairly realistic. I'm really liking his stories so far! ^ ^ They're the kind of seinen stuff I like. I mean, I like action and everything, but I'm totally into the psychological stuff. I'm only into action if it's done really well, like DOGS has its action. It's really clean and not everywhere. Action is really hard to show in movies and in manga and written in books because it happens to so fast with so many things happening that it's really hard to show and describe at the right pace.

Okay...Bye-bye! Time to read some more manga! XD

...O.o

Quick post...

Read this (copy and pasted from Manga fox):

Chris Watanabe is a high school teacher. When his father remarries, he finds himself with an English step-brother named Wataru.

...That doesn't make any sense. If the teacher guy is Japanese, should HIS NAME be Wataru? And if his step-brother is English SHOULDN'T HE be Chris? I don't get it...TT^TT The names should be switched.

Also, why is Wataru (or Watar-- or Wata---) so often used for English characters? Watari from Death Note...

I just don't get it...*shakes head*

You can't judge a book by it's cover...

You certainly can't and in the literal sense of the phrase! XD

That big list of manga, I'm almost done...and I'm only in the middle of the B's...TT^TT

Well, that big list I made I put in some manga that I THOUGHT I should just TRY out even though the cover was either plain or hideous and the plot summary was OKAY and I read them and THEY WERE BRILLIANT!

Here are the two that I've become really interested in:

External Image

(Sorry the picture is so small) It doesn't even look like manga! XD It's not exactly in a manga style, but Gogh is...Oh, yeah, the manga is called Baka to Gogh, meaning The Idiots and Gogh (or the other way around...O.o I'm not that good with Japanese! TT^TT). It's really hilarious! XD

It's about two idiot guys who are trying to make a big bang with their concert for the culture festival at the end of their senior year (well, just in the first chapter) and they get involved with this girl named Gogh and try to protect her from bullies, but then the bullies beat them up, but along the way they become friends with Gogh and Gogh happens to be a brilliant artist (fashion, mon) and so they have her design clothes for their concert and it's just funny and happy at the same time. It really makes you pumped up with their determination (and stupidity). And the style is really weird...But I really love it because it seems that everyone is wearing '70's clothes and it just gives me this great feel while reading it! <333

Here's another one:

External Image

(Sorry, another small picture) Yeahh...doesn't it look boring? And you're looking at it probably thinking how silly it looks and how the art style looks really weird and blahh, BUT the art is actually FANTASTIC! Actually, I really don't know how to explain it, everything just looks perfect...it doesn't seem to stick to one specific style that carries over on each of the characters, they look like they're all picked out of different people's styles...I don't know how to explain it, but it really works. And it's pretty violent for a shounen manga...especially to be published in Shounen Jump, I'm surprised...O.o

It's about a boy with a puppet on his arm and his puppet does most of the talking and he's pretty wild, but the two solve mysteries.

Sounds...ummm...weird? Well, it';s really exciting and the puppet really makes me happy! ^ ^ I really love the main character's design with the puppet! It's really awesome, definitely check it out!

......

........

And darn it! The art was done by Takeshi Obata (well, it was old and Obata-sama was still getting a hold on a style, you can tell, his old, old manga looks WAAY different from his manga now)! *face palms* Why do I only like shounen manga that Takeshi Obata does the art for? I don't get it! TT^TT

Seriously I had a lot of shounen manga on my list and now I think the only thing left on there is probably Ayatsuri Sakon and Baggataway (which I don't think counts since the style looks more shoujo-ish to me...plus it's about a bunch of girls)...Just from the first few pages I read I got disgusted or bored...>.> I don't know what it is! TT^TT

Most of the stuff on my list is either Shoujo or Seinen...>.> So weird how that happens...O.o

And by the way, I found another Kpop manhwa! But it's really cheesy and totally unrealistic...O.o It's about this girl who isn't into to Kpop boy bands like most teen girls, but she accidentally meets the most popular ones when her friend asked her to get an autograph of them (accidentally, because she didn't know what they looked like and just ran into them while she was one her way out of some mall thing...O.o) and so they get in a small argument and she tries to run away and one of the members runs after her and then they get suspicious and annoyed that she doesn't know who they are (Why? Are they really that self absorbed?) and so they let her have lunch with them so they can explain, but then they leave and KISS HER...WHY!? WHY IN THE WORLD WOULD YOU DO THAT EVEN IF YOU WERE CELEBRITIES!? No, why would you do that WHEN you are celebrities? And then the next day after they didn't have an assistant for a while they go to her school and ask for her to be their new assistant...O.o WHAT!? I just don't get this manhwa....

But I'm going to read it anyway since I don't find many idol manga/manhwa...XD

It's called Ardour, in case you're wondering.

And then I read this shoujo manga about this girl who could summon demons and she liked to cook sweets and demons liked sweets...Makes me want to create a character who eats a lot of sweets! XD Wait....I created a demon who liked sweets...O.o Hrmm....strange coincidence, thar, but my looks different! XD

And then I read several manga that I liked, but they were all in a realistic style..either most of the manga I'm reading is old or I'm beginning to like cross hatching styles in manga...Not that I would ever do that. I have no talent in cross hatching! TT^TT Just ask my art teacher or my friends....TT^TT I can try, but it doesn't exactly work the way it's supposed to when I cross hatch...Like when it gets darker when you go over it more at different angles...yeah...for some reason that doesn't work for me...O.o it's just the same shade...O.o I might not be doing it dark enough or applying the wrong pressure or something...but I just think that's a bit weird...Though I can do it on the computer...O.o

Well, I like doing clean pictures and looking at clean pictures...So I'll stick with that (plus I think cross hatching is sooo yesterday...XD *laughs* No, it's just outdated a bit...since more mangaka are doing art on the computer cross hatching just isn't as useful).

I'm off to read some more manga! *piisu*

Guhhh....Emotional Pain...TT^TT

I'm in pain...

Emotional pain...

Because I had a dream about Goemon's Great Adventure...TT^TT And it was so realistic, too. I was on this level (exactly this level, every detail about it was in my dream):

(Please ignore the guy talking...TT^TT)

But I think I made up an enemy...And item...like it was some kind of sparkling bat and when you killed it a sparkling card would appear and you can take it...O.o

Anyways, NOW I REALLY WANT TO PLAY THIS GAME! TT^TT UGGG...It's been too long...I wish Nintendo would put it on the shop channel already...TT^TT IT'S KILLING ME!! TT^TT

I need to play this game...TT^TT

And last night I felt really sick...I don't know what it was, though. And I tried to eat dessert because I thought I was hungry, that wasn't the case, it made me feel worse. So I only read a few bits of manga on my list and I haven't really moved from there...

So I'm determined to finish this part of the list and then add to it some more and then get to the end of the list...But I want to draw a Goemon's Great Adventure picture....XD

Oh, well, I'll figure something out...I only have 12 hours left on the internet....Wow, that's actually a long time...O.o

But it takes me a while to read...for some reason...O.o

I think your speed of reading shouldn't dictate your reading skills. I can read ANY WORD in a book and understand it's meaning (through the use of it in a sentence), but I read slowly so that I can have it more realistic and like a movie in my head, if I read any faster I won't remember the story enough or care about it enough...

Also, when I read a book I CAN REMEMBER EVERY DETAIL. And it really makes me mad when you don't read so fast and then other people judge you by that...Some of the dumbest kids in my class can read a LOT faster than me, but that doesn't make them smarter, just means that they're probably not paying attention. But if you do read fast, that doesn't mean you're not paying attention. For instance, my best friend, she reads REALLY fast and she can remember everything perfectly, and she's a genius...XD No, she's just really good at reading fast.

I have a problem, though, when I'm reading that I start reading a sentence and if I mess up on a word, saying it in my head, I have to go back and re-read the whole sentence or the whole paragraph, and I also stutter in my head when I read....O.o And I can never seem to go on to the next line....TT^TT I know that happens a lot with lots of people...and there's no solution...And don't you guys ever have it where you're reading and then suddenly you're not paying attention to your book or whatever at all so you have to go back and re-read it to understand?

This is why I don't like reading novels that much because it all has to do with the lines and all that text...It also makes me sleepy, but manga makes me pumped up...

I forgot my point, wow...O.o

Umm....I'm gonna go read some manga now...XD Eheh....XD
