I told another person this...I think I may have to post a notice. Near and anyone from the past investigation are not allowed to participate in this case. 1) It's ten years later 2) There is conflict over who would play their roles and 3) there would be major favoritism towards them.
I want everyone to use their OWN characters and wit, you know, to be able to build up their own standing instead of going off the past greats.
I have no problem with ppl witnessing things from the past (AS LONG AS THEY DIDN'T INFLUENCE THEM) being a relation to someone from the past, or even getting research material formerly gathered, even getting tips. But I want the anime/manga end to be preserved, and none of the Characters to reappear in this investigation.
I wouldn't mind at all if you made this person someone else, perhaps say you are Near's best students...after all, this is 10 years later. L was long dead and everyone knows his students were Mello and Near.
I just want to make sure everyone knows this...I will post a notice. Sorry for inconveniencing you, but these are the conclusions I made long before forming this world.
