This is one of the most difficult parts of running a site. I've had similar experiences on OB for years and it can get very tiring - no matter what you do, you just can't please everyone.

I just got through reading that... Honestly the whole thing is just beyond sad. I remember the wallpaper contest since I helped with the judging for that. >_> All the stupid silly comments on how we "supposedly" did things and that only friends got chosen by judges, blah, blah, blah. It just made me laugh because not one of the complaints was even true.

I find the whole thing by some of the people complaining very, very petty and childish really. Anyway, poor Adam, he always gets the brunt of those things.

I love that Adam's getting a lot of flak for this despite having pretty much nothing to do with the actual judging.

Said it before, say it again; SO would not want his job.

I think it's mainly people trying to soften the blow to their ego by crying bias.

I'll have to read Adam's post now.

But from what I can gather, they're just being jealous or something like that. A contest is a contest, you don't have to be a "famous" member to win.

Some people can't help but find fault with things, even when there isn't any fault to find. They have kiljoy personalities.
