The first background I used Inkscape for the lines. For this one, I did the lines directly in CLIP Studio Paint (formerly Manga Studio 5) using a vector layer and continuous curve/polyline tool. I managed to snag the basic version of MS/CSP when it was on sale for $15~
What program are you using for these, again? The lines are so crisp and geometric! Are you free-drawing these or are there like, 3d modeling tools you've been using?
