Eh...? When did I say my art wasn't worthwhile...? =O_O;= I just said I was gonna be in a hole for a few days... I mean sure I kick myself for not thinking of adding other color or thinking of the female mascot angle... And yes I wonder if they even read the accompanying story (my guess is no, because it would've taken too much time...), but I don't think my art isn't worthwhile just because I didn't win... =o_o;= I mean, mayeb a bit more if they decided the winner the day after the contest ended... But it took them sooo long to judge, it meant they had a difficult time choosing =o3o= My entry just missed that "it" factor... Although I can't really blame them... it was technically a last minute entry because I'd misjudged the deadline... So I did it in like, 5 hours the day before the official deadling and wrote the story the day of... They don't want someone who'd wait so long, yo XD;;;
Aw, I made myself feel bad for a completely different and more valid reason now...

Wait! Come back! No crawling into holes :{ They were truly lovely pieces that the bosslings chose, but I still like your style better. Not hatin' just the way I am and the style I like.
Please keep at it!! I know it's discouraging now and nothing I can say will make it less sad for not winning, but please don't think your art isn't worthwhile. You obviously have talent and a creative mind that takes art into unusual, but good places. Ganbatte!

XD I was nervous about the whole thing too, but at least now it's out of the way. I think the new mascot is cute and refreshing.

Yeah, but I was really looking forward to what would happen if I won this one... See, I don't have a job, so I thought winning this would make a great portfolio piece =( And stuff... I was dreaming all night of what would happen with the first place result... so I didn't get much sleep, cuz I kept waking up because of that and the the storm outside =o3o;=
I'll get over it... but I'll just mope around for a while =3= Ah well... I didn't really need another animation software... I already have Flash XD; I should probably finish up the animation I'd started a year ago =o3o;= Bah...
I'm so sorry you didn't win. I loved your entry because of it's uniqueness and creativity. But chin up! *hugs* I'm sure you'll win the next challenge. XD
