After a one year hiatus...

Today I realized that I have logged in exactly a year after the last time I was on this website!!!!

I'm not going to write about every little detail that happened in 2010. I'll probably just start with this past week or so.

Last Thursday was my birthday, which was really cool. My parents got me an ice cream cake from the local ice cream store that just recently closed among other great gifts. I also bought a lottery game and won....nothing XD. The next day my boyfriend took me for a nice dinner and a movie date. We went to see Harry Potter. Now, I'm not a huge Harry Potter fan, but I was brought to tears when Dobby died .

Monday morning I got really sick and went to the hospital for a couple days, so I've stayed home this whole week. But that's given me time to play two of the games I got for my birthday!

I'm in Azaelea Town in Pokemon HeartGold. I loved the original Pokemon Gold, so this is just as good, if not even better! I really like the Pokewalker accessory too. I usually keep it in my pocket all day and accumulate at least 4000 steps by the time I get home around 3 PM.

I've also been playing a lot of Chrono Trigger. I thought I was almost done, but Blank warned me that I was actually nowhere near the end lol. There have been many times that I have no idea where to go or what to do, but that's all part of the fun, right? I've also had a lot of fun naming the characters. (I don't know if I should put a spoiler alert for this or what...)
Crono- Karfy
Marle- Maria :o
Lucca- Kitty
Frog- Dog
Robo- Rick
Ayla- Buwana

Yeah, I'm goofy...

I don't know how often I'll get on the Otaku...maybe I'll try twice a year now XD. jk.

The End of Hibernation

Ok...so. I've been REALLY busy lately!
For instance, I've picked up walking for exercise. The last two days I walked home from school with my friend, and then he wanted to walk even MORE after I got home. Needless to say, I'm quite achy, but it's worth it. I think I've exercised more this week than I did the entire winter, thus leading me to believe that I "hibernated".
All of this has occurred because of the rapid change in weather. Last week, there was still snow on the ground: Now it's warm enough to wear shorts and flip flops. I have to admit, though, the spring has really lifted my spirits . I feel like it's Summer already! (Unfortunately, this has resulted in me forgetting about my homework a few times...XD)
This weekend one of my friends is going to an anime convention. I still haven't decided if I'm going, or what day. I'll update if I do go. However, con or not, I'll still be seeing EMPEROR BLANK!!!! ^_^

Movies and Moons and... Kingdom Hearts

So I got back from New Moon around 10:30. It’s 2:05 now, and I still can’t sleep. Darn caffeine.

Anyways, it was really good. It wasn’t quite as painfully corny as the last one. I mostly just had the same complaint as last time: Bella has no EMOTIONS. She’s either terrified or neutral. I mean, I would be a little more happy about getting a new camera from my Dad or a nice party with my hot vampire boyfriend…oy. As for the rest: awesome. The action scenes were good, and I loved the wolves. The only other concern was the plot, but I already knew that Bella would end up with Emo Eddy again (especially thanks to an anonymous spoiler :p lol)…still, it makes me mad. He’s so cold. (literally lol.) and Jacob’s so…..hot (again, literally XD)…Oy, great. Now I sound like one of those Twilight fanatics. It’ll probably go away in a day or two…hopefully.

In other news, my sister-in-law sent me Kingdom Hearts 358/2 Days, which I received yesterday. I finally got to play it tonight, and couldn’t put it down. I just got past the tutorial levels, but it looks like it’ll be good. My favorite part, of course, is Roxas’s quote “So, friends are people who eat ice cream together?”. ^_^. I think that’s a pretty accurate definition of friendship, if you ask me.

I think the moon is finally in a new phase for me :). yay for cheesy metaphors!

PS: Ok Go’s song in the movie was EPIC ^_____^. It still sounds better live, though.
